Space truly is the final frontier, and the Kennedy Space Center has numerous exhibits that examine the past, present, and future of NASA and space travel. The visitor complex is just a short 12 minute drive from the International Palms Resort. There are so many interactive and informative exhibits at the Kennedy Space Center that you and your family will easily spend hours exploring as much of it as you can.

Space Shuttle Atlantis

This exhibit tells the story of the Atlantis Shuttle through hands on activities and a close up view of the actual shuttle. It is an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the accomplishments of our space program.

Shuttle Launch Experience

If you choose this exhibit, you will get experience the sights and sounds of an actual shuttle launch. This is a chance to see if you have the right stuff as you strap in and go vertical in a launch simulation in a recreated crew cabin.

Apollo/Saturn V Center

This excellent exhibit allows visitors to relive the Apollo era and our country’s drive to put a man on the moon. Learn more about the brave men and women who succeeded in literally reaching for the stars!

Astronaut Encounter

Throughout the day, you and your family have the opportunity to meet actual veteran astronauts. These brave men and women will present their stories to a crowd of eager visitors.

Astronaut Memorial

In this hall, NASA’s fallen heroes are honored. This exhibit celebrates those who gave their lives in the quest for answers beyond our own home here on Earth.
